The last official version is 1.7.13, as Mozilla Foundation is currently focusing on the development of Firefox and Thunderbird. Versions 6 and 7 of the Netscape suite were based on the Mozilla Suite. Also included were tools to synchronize the application with PalmPilot devices, and several extensions for advanced Web development, including the DOM Inspector, and Venkman (a JavaScript debugger). The Mozilla Suite was composed of several main programs: Navigator (a Web browser), Communicator ( Mozilla Mail & Newsgroups), a Web page developer ( Mozilla Composer), an IRC client ( ChatZilla) and an electronic address book. The project has been superseded by the SeaMonkey Internet suite (SeaMonkey was the original code name for the project), a community-driven Internet suite that is based on the same source code, and continues to be developed with the newer Mozilla codebase. The development was spearheaded by the Mozilla Organization from 1998 to 2003, and by the Mozilla Foundation from 2003 to 2006. It was based on the source code of Netscape Communicator. Note: Proxy Privacy Ruler is incompatible with FoxyProxy, because the last one overwrites native Firefox Proxy Library. The toolbar button allows quickly switch proxy limitation on and off, and when pressed with Ctrl opens the options. In addition there is custom domain list for enabling proxy in non-private windows and tabs. It supports all types of proxies that can be set via browser options, as well as most of popular add-ons, such as anonymoX, Browsec, friGate, Hoxx and ZenMate. Proxy Privacy Ruler allows to limit proxy usage by private windows, and together with Private Tab proxy can be enabled even only in private tabs within single browser window. Usually this is achieved by domain lists, but it's not always suitable and not all proxies supports such option. ![]() Many thanks for your feedback and support over the years. If you want to continue using it after November 14, 2017, you should consider replacing your browser with Pale Moon, SeaMonkey or Waterfox.
